I study traffic generation. I really do. I spend thousands of dollars each year buying products that promise to help me get an edge in the traffic generation market hoping that I might learn just some small twist I didn’t know before. I read tons of blogs every month looking for the latest in what’s working, and I read several monthly newsletters that all talk about traffic generation. Heck, I even write one myself.
If you’d have asked me a month ago if I knew of all the major strategies to get traffic to a website, I would have opened up a gigantic mindmap stored on my computer that includes everything from SEO to Social Media to PPC to Radio to JVs to Video to Postcards to Writing Books. It’s huge. Writing a manual on the full gambit of those strategies would be likely result in 50 lbs of manuals.
I’d have probably acknowledged some minor ones I didn’t know about, but I would be pretty sure I knew all the strategies for getting A LOT of traffic to a website.
Well, I was wrong.
I recently purchased a product – it was cheap so I thought what the heck – that taught me about a major source of traffic that I’d completely missed.
In my huge stack of manuals, newsletters, and audio programs nobody had ever talked about it. Not one single mention.
And this isn’t just a few visitors a day type of traffic or even a few hundred. This method can result in thousands of extra visitors per day. It’s a resource that has been overlooked by most marketers for years, and the select few that know about are making a killing from it.
Would you like to know what it is?
By creating freeware/shareware programs and distributing them to the major software directories, you can get thousands or even tens of thousands is extra visitors a day to visit a website, sign up to a newsletter, or even go to an affiliate page of yours.
In the manual, Confessions of a Lazy Super-Affiliate, the author Chris Rempel covers how to use this strategy in detail, and how to create program even if you couldn’t program your way out of a box. I’m not a programmer either, and I can do this.
This software strategy isn’t all he covers either. He actually talks about how to build traffic to affiliate sites using good old fashioned SEO. And the best part is that he actually knows what he’s talking about.
It’s the first affiliate manual I’ve ever read where the author truly understood search engine optimization and how to build real traffic from the search engines. And he took that understanding and has used it to generate a healthy six figure income with a relatively small number of websites. It’s definitely a worthwhile read.
And if you’ve been reading this blog for a while or you’ve read my Ultimate Traffic Blueprint or taken my link building course, you’ll find that my strategies are completely compatible with his.
And the product is under priced, so even if you’re on a tight budget, there’s no excuse.
If you’re looking for a fairly easy way to make some extra money this year, then I’d highly recommend giving this system a shot.
