HAPPY ST PATRICK’S DAY!

While it’s fun to try to chase leprechauns at end of the rainbow, it’s not really a good business strategy… yet that doesn’t stop most business owners from doing just that (but we’re smarter than that, aren’t we?).

So instead of sending you on a wild goose chase to find some fabled pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, how about some tried and true tips for making it appear right in front of you any time you’d like?

USE THESE TIPS TO DOUBLE YOUR BUSINESS OR MORE!
———————————————–

The only way this advice won’t be useful to you is if you haven’t started yet… if that’s the case then it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get started.

3 Ways To Increase Business:

1 – Get More Eyeballs

If you have a physical brick and mortar store, this means more phone calls or people actually coming into the store.  If you have a website, this means more visitors.

Here are just a few ways to get more eyeballs to what you have to sell:

  -Issue A Press Release
  -Do A Joint Venture
  -Purchase Traffic Through PPC
  -SEO (still works)
  -Record A Video
-Write An Article For Your Industry’s Trade Journal

2 – Make More Offers

This one seems to be the most neglected by business owners.  If you’ve sold stuff to people, by golly, try to sell stuff to them again!  It’s not rocket science. :-)

If you sell on eBay – list more stuff… as long as it’s profitable.

If you have an ecommerce website, add more products.

If you have a list – send out more emails.

If you do affiliate marketing, create more content and put up more product reviews.

If you have a customer list of any kind, send them more stuff!

3 – Increase Transaction Size

When someone orders from you, what happens?  Do you immediately try to upsell them the deluxe version of your program?  Do you offering another program?  Do the pages of your website have an "people who bought X also purchased Y (like Amazon.com)?

Maybe you have limited control over the checkout process (like eBay and other marketplaces)… no problem.  Stick your catalog or a coupon for a discount on future purchase.

What about affiliate marketers?  Simple – offer more expensive programs that offer higher commissions.

P.S.  Please, please, please – if you go out drinking tonight – enjoy a real Irish beer like Guiness or Harp, but please none of that "green beer" – that’s just Miller Lite or Bud Light with green food coloring.  And please call a designated driver if you’ve had one too many.

Have fun tonight – I know I will.  :-)
